During therapy you will learn to look at your thoughts and beliefs and to understand the link to your behaviours, mood and physical reactions.
Our emphasis is on finding solutions that work for you, so that every client can become their own therapist by applying new skills and techniques to old patterns of thinking and behaving.
Initially, your therapist may help you complete a list of your problem (s) that you want to address. Alongside this, you will also develop realistic goals you would like to achieve, these are flexible and constantly under review.
We will also look at how problems are maintained. This could be because of:
Clients take an active part in therapy and you any be asked to carry out “homework” between sessions; this could be completing a thought diary or completing a task to test rules and assumptions that might be maintaining your problem.
Therapy can be weekly but will always be tailored to your needs in collaboration with your therapists; sessions are typically 50 minutes to 1 hour.
You and your therapist would agree your treatment plan collaboratively; a typical treatment plan would look like this:

Your treatment plan will always be tailored to your lifestyle and needs, we are very happy to provide remote therapy by Skype phone, e-mail and even SMS to ensure continuation of therapy.
